Maria Roche has been an esthetician for over five years. Originally from Venezuela, she came to Toronto at the age of eighteen, to pursue her studies in Chemistry. She quickly fell in love with Toronto and has lived here ever since. Maria decided to become an esthetician after finishing her Chemistry studies and realizing her passion was Cosmetic Chemistry. She quickly realized her true passion was hands on esthetics work with clients!
Prior to starting her own practice, Maria gained valuable experience and expertise in medical esthetics such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels and photofacials, giving her extensive knowledge in skin sensitivities such as: acne, rosacea and eczema.
A big believer in the powerful mix of wellbeing, nutrition and skin care treatments, Maria is currently taking on a more holistic approach to skin care, making the healing, and optimum healthy state of the skin, a top priority.
Maria is a Certified Esthetician and holds a Spa Management and Esthetics Certificate from Sheridan College, a Nutrition and Wellness Specialist Certification from Can-Fit-Pro, Chemical Laboratory Technology Diploma from Humber College , IPL (laser) Certification, as well as advanced training in at least five different professional skin care lines.
Maria's facial treatments are not your basic facials; they are gentle, yet highly effective. Most importantly they are result oriented treatments. Having suffered from acne herself, she knows what it's like to feel that your skin is not at its best.
